Blue and Green

There are so many shades of blue and green here. The patois is thick and at times impossible for the Canadian ear. The sun beats down on us from early morning till dusk, but a breeze is soft and refreshing. When the sun hides behinds the clouds the temperature is perfect and cause to smile. The pace at which we work is determined by our feelings each day and we are not pressed for time. Every day we are greeted with ‘good mornings’ and ‘afternoons’ by each person we meet. So courteous. When night falls street dogs run from yard to yard and you just might find a goat on your neighbors roof. Just kidding. Oh, and I never forget to lock the grill before retiring for the night. I am keeping my composure but I’m thinking in love with this place… 🙂
