Lost In Paradise

Lost in paradise

Im trying to find me

But Palm trees and pretty beaches is all I see

See.. Some things are not always what they seem

Having a nitemare within myself where most people get lost in their dreams

Dreams, I try my hardest to not lose sight of them

Walking blind surrounded by misguided men

But I have a bad habit of trying to see the best in him.. or her,

and finding meaning in this hurt,

The purpose of this heart

I need to get away from here is what I said

Be careful what you wish for,

Cause now the Sun has set and now its dark..

Lost in paradise

I wonder if anyone can hear me here

Or listen to what im saying

Cuz everybody fear me there..

Lost in Transition

I’m just trying to find my way out

Trying to get my foot in

Find my balance. Regain my footing.

Im Lost in Paradise

I’m just trying to find me

Without material possessions I used to think defined me…

This is actually meant to be ‘Spoken Word’ and not read, but I wrote this when I first got here..enjoy!
